Seal Rocks is the most beautiful camping spot in New South Wales only a couple hours out from Sydney. We camped right next to sand dunes that led to a beach with good surf and 0 other people.
The night we arrived, we jumped in the ocean to the sunset and I remember it being so warm! Year round, the water in Aus stays much warmer than it is in California.
This was my first encounter with a monitor lizard. Us Americans were so freaked out when this HUGE thing walked by, only to be met with blank stares by the locals. These creepy little guys will sneak into your tent!
